Entertaining Newcastle crowds with music is something of a family tradition for Ian Papworth. Ian Papworth is a Newcastle-based guitarist, singer and songwriter. Ian has played live for 25 years in numerous acts such as The Crawling Kingsnakes, The Rumour, Blues Rumour, Twin Fin duo, THE PAPARAZZI and Pap & That.

Influenced initially by acoustic artists such as Neil Young and James Taylor, the natural progression lead to electric guitar and influences like SRV, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and the blues.

With a voice that has been described as warm honey and more than adequate guitar skills, Ian is slowly emerging as an artist to keep an eye out for.
